A COUPLE OF THINGS

If you’re reading this, it’s because you either know me, have somehow stumbled on a copy of my book, or this is years down the road, “Grace” has become world-famous, and it’s 3am and you have nothing better to do than browse through old blog entries to see if you can dig up some ancient treasure.

I thought this might be a good time to express the depth of my gratitude to all of the treasured friends the Maker has put into my life.  Men and women, and boys and girls, who have shaped me, held me up, and shouted from the side lines, “Keep going!  Keep going!  You can do this, Janna, you have it in you!”

Of all the things I have learned so far, there a few of which I am certain.  Here are two of them:

Above all else, there is One who loves you more deeply and more passionately than you can imagine.  You can’t out-do Him.  You can’t out-dream Him.  Don’t hold back.  Imagine the most incredible God you can, with the most infinite love, and still He will astound you.

You are precious.  As unique as your fingerprints.  You have a special story and a purpose for being here on this earth.  You might not know what it is, but He does.  And it is never too late.  He will always be there, right beside you, even when you can’t hear Him or see Him.  Even when you hate Him or reject Him.  He will never leave you.  He will never stop fighting for your heart.
