DRAGON’S BREATH
Come down here and look me in the eye
Tell me to my face that you did this
So I can shove you in the chest
So I can glare at you with longing
So I can give this black, inexplicable pain a silent voice
So you can grasp the back of my head with your nail-scarred hand
And burn a cross into my petrified heart
I will lock eyes with you
I will dig my shaking hands into your chest and not let go

Shatter the chrysalis
The breath of heaven feels like dragon’s fire today
